What's Up: New tattoo studios show some skin

Local residents looking to add artwork or messages to their body now

have two new options in the market.

Imperial Tattoo, a single-story shop at 2803 Rib Mountain Drive in Rib

Mountain, will be open from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays,

said Tyler Budimlija, owner.

Budimlija said he has been working as a tattoo artist for eight years,

with stints in Minnesota and Racine. This is his first time as an owner.

"The location is good," Budimlija said.

Customers can select a design at the shop or bring in their own design.

Even if a customer has an unrefined idea, Budimlija said he can work

with them to come up with a quality tattoo.

"I can do anything," he said. "If you were to come in with an idea and

throw it at me, I can definitely take it from there."

Tattoo pricing is determined by the amount of time it takes Budimlija to

work on it. The hourly rate is $100. Anything under that time frame

costs a minimum of $50.

Budimlija can be reached at the shop at 842-7059. The shop's Web site is

www.imperialtattoos.net.
