What's Up: New tattoo studios show some skin
Local residents looking to add artwork or messages to their body now
have two new options in the market.
Imperial Tattoo, a single-story shop at 2803 Rib Mountain Drive in Rib
Mountain, will be open from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays,
said Tyler Budimlija, owner.
Budimlija said he has been working as a tattoo artist for eight years,
with stints in Minnesota and Racine. This is his first time as an owner.
"The location is good," Budimlija said.
Customers can select a design at the shop or bring in their own design.
Even if a customer has an unrefined idea, Budimlija said he can work
with them to come up with a quality tattoo.
"I can do anything," he said. "If you were to come in with an idea and
throw it at me, I can definitely take it from there."
Tattoo pricing is determined by the amount of time it takes Budimlija to
work on it. The hourly rate is $100. Anything under that time frame
costs a minimum of $50.
